The Bates Family.

Hands down. My favorite family to photograph. Totally, biased, huh? My reasoning is a mix of sentimental reasons (I photographed their wedding a few years back, and they have always been really supportive in helping me grow my craft), my husband and I are close to this family for many other reasons, and not only that...but as a photographer, they are a good looking bunch! (it was really hard to choose photos for this entry!)

The oldest is interested, but remains aloof...he is a teen, after all.

Happy Birthday Mr. L!

I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorites for a milestone birthday, this weekend. I have to commend his mother, my dear friend, who threw an adorable party that went off without a single hitch! All that hard work and planning paid off, and I know he will cherish the photos.

Hailey Kelso Senior 2012

I met up with this cross country athlete and her mom at Longview's famous Lake Sacajewea. An excellent session with an upbeat, and up for any sort of pose!  She plans on attending college in Seattle next fall, and I must say, it was definitely a refreshing change of pace to work with this senior.

Miss Hillary visits Tacoma.

This chick happens to be one of my good friends. Not only is she a virtual saint (she has a resume that can back that statement up!) but she is also quirky, and tragically endearing, and does not like condiments or tomatoes (among other things). She came up for the weekend not just for a visit but to walk in my tiny team for breast cancer awareness. I took this visit as an opportunity to photograph the many wonderful places Tacoma has to offer.
