MMHS Senior Karson

I know it's not nice to brag, but my hometown has some pretty good looking people, if I do say so myself and this last weekend's clientele were no exception. Here is Karson, a senior graduating from my alma-mater Mark Morris High. (Go Monarchs!) He played basketball for them all 4 years, and this athlete is off to an out of state college in the fall, where he plans to try out for the basketball team. Good luck in your future Karson, looks bright! Enjoy the photos. *Click on photos to enlarge.

Daniel Kirkpatrick and the Bayonets(pt. deux)

I drove up to Seattle last Saturday to do a photo shoot with these guys. The weather was absolutely phenomenal! I hope you enjoy some of the preview photos. It was, as always a good time getting to hang out with these guys and hearing their band stories.

*This was the joke "Boy Band" photo.
Probably my favorite from the shoot.

Daniel Kirkpatrick and the Bayonets

I had the pleasure of doing an old friend a favor, and doing something I have not done in a verrry long time on Saturday. Drove up to Seattle to photograph an amazing band that consists of a lot of hometown kids! Not only was I happy to run into a bunch of old friends, and do what I love most, but I got to hear some really good music.

A vintage flare.

Pre-show stuff.

fans.

If you're interested in this band, check out their facebook page, and here is a link to what they sound like! I hope you enjoy as much as I did, and get the opportunity to hear them live!

Also...look for some more photos of them in the near future!

Mr. Logan

On Saturday, I met up with Mr. Logan and his mom, Katie, whom I have known for over 10 years! The weather was absolutely phenomenal, and we had ourselves a great time following this smart little boy around and taking his photos. Enjoy!

look at that mischievous smile.

Logan's mom informed me that Logan has
a knack for closing his eyes in photos.
I'm pretty sure everyone has an "eye closer"
in their family! fortunately for Logan,
we went with his talent, and it still made for
amazing photos.

boys will be boys!

kissy face.

eyes closed again, and yet this is one of my favorites!

Choke.

I ate this for lunch the other day.

Do you ever have moments in time where you are doing some mindless, minuscule task, and suddenly you are struck by beauty? I have those moments often, especially when it comes to the practice of consuming fruits or veggies. You might have already known this, considering my fascination for pomegranates, and avocados. I hope you take the time to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us!
