Jenta, Mark Morris 2013 Senior pt. 2

We saw this beautiful girl back in the fall. She came back for a Spring session and what a wonderful session was it! The weather was phenomenal and so was the model, ahem, senior.

Sam KHS 2013 Senior

I had the pleasure of photographing Sam's older brother last year, and this year was Sam's turn! He was an amazing model, very intuitive and followed direction well. A photographer's dream. Thank you for choosing me and best wishes Sam!

Jenta, Mark Morris High Class of 2013

Yay for Mark Morris kids! (I'm totally biased, bc that was my Alma Mater, albeit a long time ago...) I met up with Jenta for some more urban type photos on a if-y weather day, but fortunately we lucked out and got the patch of sun. She did a fantastic job posing, and look at her gorgeous eyes! I also met up with her a little later in the day for a 2nd shoot (which you will see, coming up soon!). She seems like a very sweet, smart girl, and totally easy to photograph, made my job easy! She's another senior to look for in the spring. :)

Taylor Class of 2013 KHS Senior

I met up with this Kelso High Senior (and his dad, J) at his school, unfortuantely the day that we picked happened to be a completely busy! The parking lot was full and there were tons of people where we wanted to take pictures. No worries, though, Taylor was not phased! He rocked it out. 

If you are not from the Longview-Kelso area, then you are not familiar with how much school pride Kelso High has, and how big of a football school they are! Taylor is a football star, but not only that, I found him to be a sweet, well mannered young man. Look for him in the spring for his senior sessions part 2!

Taylor: Curtis Senior High Class of 2013

The morning of Taylor's shoot was gray and dreary, I've had my fare share of rainy day shoots, so I shrugged it off. When it came time for Taylor's shoot in the afternoon, the sun was out and beautiful! We met at Point Defiance Park, and had ourselves a great time. Taylor is a natural, not only is she a beautiful, bright, young woman, but unlike most teens, she's not awkward or shy and did a fantastic job in front of the camera! I would even go so far as to say she's a natural. Hope you enjoy the previews!

Garrett: Curtis Senior High Class of 2013

I had the pleasure of meeting Garrett this past Sunday. He is a senior at Curtis Senior High this year and has high aspirations to study Biological engineering! So refreshing to meet young people who are putting good out there in the world. Hope you have an amazing senior year, Garrett!

MMHS Senior Shilah

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed photographing Shilah. It's times like these when I think "Man, my job is TOUGH!" As you can see, this senior is absolutely stunning (and I don't use that word very often), can you believe she was actually NERVOUS to have her picture taken? Not only was she an absolute joy to work with, but her family was wonderful, too, warm and comfortable. Shilah, I wish you the best of luck being a Coug next year! Congratulations.

KHS Senior Jordan

Jordan was an excellent person to photograph and work with. He gave my suggestions and in put on what sort of shots he was interested, as well as being flexible to my suggestions. It was a wonderful thing to photograph a senior who was so enthused about having his pictures taken! Jordan has many interests and talents and I hope I was able to capture them in his photos. Good luck and congratulations Jordan!

KHS Senior Jacob

Jacob came out to Abernathy for his photo shoot, and I love anyone who's willing to drive out that far to get a good picture taken (and you can't ever go wrong with Abernathy photos!). I went to high school with Jacob's uncle, in fact, his uncle and I took our very first photo class together. Talk about feeling O.L.D. It was a very fun shoot and as you can see, he was a natural in front of the camera. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation Jacob!

MMHS Senior Karson

I know it's not nice to brag, but my hometown has some pretty good looking people, if I do say so myself and this last weekend's clientele were no exception. Here is Karson, a senior graduating from my alma-mater Mark Morris High. (Go Monarchs!) He played basketball for them all 4 years, and this athlete is off to an out of state college in the fall, where he plans to try out for the basketball team. Hailey Kelso Senior 2012

I met up with this cross country athlete and her mom at Longview's famous Lake Sacajewea. An excellent session with an upbeat, and up for any sort of pose!  She plans on attending college in Seattle next fall, and I must say, it was definitely a refreshing change of pace to work with this senior.

Calling all SENIORS!

I'm looking for some senior models for a FREE photo shoot! Senior pictures average $300-$500 so why not jump on this opportunity?

This is obviously a RARE opportunity, because, seriously...how often do photographers GIVE out shoots? This will only be open to a couple lucky Seniors. So Please contact me for more information! (I am looking for a couple in Tacoma/Seattle area as well as Longview/Kelso). (Basically 1 model representative per/school).

The catch being: you have to have a facebook account. So what I am giving out is a free 1hr photo shoot. You will receive a disc w/5 images sized 8x10 and smaller. If you want another shoot, you would have to schedule and pay the standard fee (but $10 off for every referral), a 2nd shoot in the spring might be fun idea!
