Baby T.

I was pleased to meet Baby T on a dreary Wednesday. Not only is he as good looking as you see in the photos, but he was also one of my most easiest babies to photograph! So mellow. He did have a couple moments of crying, but the longest it ever lasted was not even a minute. He made my job VERY easy! All in all, not a terrible way to spend an afternoon. I hope to see this handsome boy in the future! (Perhaps some more baby torture?)

Well fed and sleepy.

He won't close those eyes though!
This is a traveling baby!

Auntie & Nieces.

One of my most favorite people in this entire world is my mother's sister. My aunt. I also know I'm one of her favorite people, too. The bond between a favorite aunt and her nieces is a really strong one, and it's nice to have someone who is like your mom, but better (sometimes), hehe. This is my friend Jennifer and her beautiful nieces. Jennifer has been one of the biggest supporters of my photography, and besides that, she is a wonderful, kind, generous, funny person, and I'm so grateful to have rekindled my friendship with her. Here's to amazing women (and soon-to-be amazing women)! Cheers.

Also, if you think our backdrop is so gorgeous that it's fake, well you're right. It is. Just kidding! It's the magic of Abernthy, one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Amara. She's breathtaking, huh?

Rayla. This is the only time in your
life where drool on your chin is
considered CUTE!

Daniel Kirkpatrick & the Bayonets at the Columbia Theater

Daniel Kirkpatrick & the Bayonets performed in the most beautiful venues, The Columbia Theater. If you didn't get to make the show last week, I do hope you do your absolute best to make it the next time they are in town, because it was excellent. HERE is a link to their facebook page, so you can "like" them and be updated on their upcoming performances.

In the green room, before the show.

you can get an idea of how gorgeous the theater is.

they had the Mark Morris High School Choir
join them on stage!

Far left is Dan's father! Looks like musical talent runs
in the family.

MMHS Senior Shilah

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed photographing Shilah. It's times like these when I think "Man, my job is TOUGH!" As you can see, this senior is absolutely stunning (and I don't use that word very often), can you believe she was actually NERVOUS to have her picture taken? Not only was she an absolute joy to work with, but her family was wonderful, too, warm and comfortable. Shilah, I wish you the best of luck being a Coug next year! Congratulations.

Meet my Godson.

This is Ness. This past Christmas, Ness' parents asked my husband and I to be his Godparents. The best Christmas gift I've ever received. Also, the best birthday card I've ever received have been from Ness' parents, as well, so let's just say they have a knack for gift giving! I've always wanted a puppy with a red bow for a Christmas gift, but I'm pretty sure that getting to be a Godparent is even cooler than that. I suspect that Ness is just an all around happy, giggly baby, but I'm going to ignore my suspicions and just say that I'm pretty sure he think I am the absolute most hilarious person, EVER. Talk about ego boost!!! I hope you enjoy his pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them, and I also hope you're jealous you can't be his godmother. ;) I took these photos while on a quick visit to see him and his parents in Colorado.

Gregg-Crawford Wedding

I have a decent amount of weddings under my belt, and if you combine the weddings I've done for work and the weddings I've attended as a guest, I have a LOT...but I can genuinely say that this was the funniest wedding I've ever been apart of. It was lighthearted, happy, and people were laughing the entire time. That being said, it wasn't so jokey that you couldn't tell that Amelia and Jase were completely in love. There were also many sweet and touching moments, it was truly a pleasure (and probably one of the more laid back brides!). I wish you two the best, and hope to hang out: since we all live in TACOMA! YAY!

dress details, gorgeous, huh?

First Look.

The couple played a movie before the ceremony.
There were lots of laughs from the audience
and a SURPRISE at the end!

like I said, lots of laughter.
Best wedding vows, EVER.

KHS Senior Jordan

Jordan was an excellent person to photograph and work with. He gave my suggestions and in put on what sort of shots he was interested, as well as being flexible to my suggestions. It was a wonderful thing to photograph a senior who was so enthused about having his pictures taken! Jordan has many interests and talents and I hope I was able to capture them in his photos. Good luck and congratulations Jordan!

KHS Senior Jacob

Jacob came out to Abernathy for his photo shoot, and I love anyone who's willing to drive out that far to get a good picture taken (and you can't ever go wrong with Abernathy photos!). I went to high school with Jacob's uncle, in fact, his uncle and I took our very first photo class together. Talk about feeling O.L.D. It was a very fun shoot and as you can see, he was a natural in front of the camera. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation Jacob!

This last shot was a quick after thought
on Jake's part. Very funny, huh?
