Destination Wedding/ Fall Photo Shoots! (Christmas Cards!)

Hello friends! I am traveling to Las Vegas this weekend for a destination wedding. I will be doing the photography for the Vegas wedding, please look for photos sometime next week. Fun fact: Did you know? That my husband and I lived in Vegas? Yes, yes we did. If you know us, and think that this is totally unexpected, you are RIGHT. We hated it. Now we are returning, more than 4 years since our departure.

Also: It feels early, but time to start thinking about family photos for CHRISTMAS CARDS! Fall time slots available for LONGVIEW photo shoots! September 17th 9-12pm out on Abernathy (Abernathy, is where we get all those amazing fern/tree/woodsy backgrounds). September 18th (morning/afternoon). As for October, I only have October 15th morning, and October 16th morning available (everything else has been booked!). Please feel free to contact me to book your time slot.

*and as always if you have another date you need, please feel free to ask and we might be able to work something out! Also, please check the calendar at bottom of this page.

40th Anniversary Celebration.

*Please click photo to enlarge. (you guys probably already know the drill by now).
"Miss La Grande" and "Mr. Peace Corps."

enjoying the slideshow.

A play re-enactment of the couple's
love story.

as you can see by the photos, the play was
a HIT! (so hilarious!)

I've said this a lot already...but I will say it again (on my website). I have VERY high expectations for my own 40th Anniversary party, after witnessing thing one. There was a big turnout, delicious food, a beautiful home, a sentimental slideshow, and a hilarious play. All the guests were saying that this was the best anniversary party they had ever been to. It was my first (that I can remember!) and I think it will, too, be the best. I was hired to be a photographer, but would have PAID to be a guest. It was that wonderful. Congratulations C family.

H Family

The little boy might look familiar to you. He is Mr. A from last weekend! I got together again with him and his  wonderful parents (and his doggy siblings) for a family photo shoot. It was yet another good time hanging out with him and his mama. He is such a mellow baby! I only picked 3 photos, but really...I wish you could see how happy he is in all of them.

Twins M & J

Miss M and Miss J are 3 and sassy. Twin sisters, the cutest can be! It was a happy accident that the pretty summer dresses that they originally had on, got stained after Dad gave them some grape juice. They wore their Angel costumes instead, which made for some pretty fantastic photo ops. Let's just say they were too smart for their own good, and we did a lot of bribing and coaxing (there was chocolate involved). ;)

Miss M.

I met little Miss M. for the first time this weekend out on Abernathy. As you can see, she is just adorable. She really liked our dog, and kept saying "Puppy?" She didn't like his barking, though, and even told him "stop!" (I agree!). It was wonderful meeting Miss M. and her fun parents.

A & C

C's mom is one of my best friends. C, I have known since he was a tiny little baby, and he is growing up SO FAST into a big boy. He starts school this fall (pre-school) and has requested a backpack AND a jet pack for school. His mom replied with "I am not sure if Ross carries jet packs, but we'll see." Two of my favorite people on Earth.

Mr. A Preview

I knew this little boy's mama back from my college days. It was really awesome getting to photograph him. We went to his grandpa's property and had ourselves a great time with this little male model. In the bottom photo, we put him in the chair and it was slightly unstable due to the lumpy grass, we thought he wouldn't like it...but guess what he did? He rocked it out! He loved that the chair moved a little. What a great attitude! LOVED getting to meet him (finally) and catching up with his beautiful mom.

Baby J Round 2.

I met up with this sweet little girl (you can see her photos on this website from a couple weeks ago) for another round of photos! It was realllllly warm and we had to do our best to take some quick fun shots before EVERYONE melted. Not complaining though, we were definitely grateful for the sunshine. Isn't she cute?!

Baby W Preview.

There is nothing more adorable than a chubby baby. This little boy had it all, beautiful blue eyes, the most pinch-able cheeks, and fat baby thighs! SO CUTE. Not only that, but he was really expressive and cracked me up with his happy squinty face.
